• Thai Basil Jalapeños +

Grilled Goat Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 thick slices Bread, lightly toasted

  • 1 small handful Cilantro leaves, rinsed

  • 2 oz. Goat Cheese

  • 8-10 Thai Basil Jalapeños

  • 2 pats Butter

  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

  • a splash of Milk

  • Sea Salt + Pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium high heat. Add cilantro and sea salt, crisping until dark green and starting to blacken (about 3 minutes). Transfer to a plate immediately, and allow skillet to cool.

  • In a small bowl, stir goat cheese until smooth and spreadable, adding milk until desired consistency is reached. Spread on both sides of the bread, topping with Gordy’s Thai Basil Jalapeños and crispy cilantro. Add sea salt and pepper to taste before closing the sandwich.

  • Re-heat the skillet over medium-low heat. Add butter and melt, placing the sandwich over top.  Grill until golden brown, then flip, adding butter to the skillet between sides. Slice and serve immediately.
